A few pictures of my first money pit for @Merlin Cat and @CollyP as a result of their comments on a different post. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Its not moved since I got the bay in 2010, was going to sell, then son wanted me to recommission it, teaching him basic mechanics at the same time.....but he's discovered girls !
Still it's tucked up in a garage and not costing me anything.

  6. I had driving lessons in a Herald Saloon in 1964.
They have a fantastic turning circle, but you have to be careful when doing a three point turn as you could easily stall the engine with too little power, or roll the front tyres off the rims if you used too much power.
Nice cars but rust buckets, that's why they are rare.

    Luverly. :)

Looks great. Always thought the 1200s looked better than the 13/60 (mine was 13/60).

    Thought vitesse looked even worse.
Always wanted a vitesse with a 1200 bonnet

    Thanks for posting the pics.

    If you ever want rid................

I’ll fight her for it :)

Will probably pull it out of storage this summer.....she's not in that good a condition, but I've never seen one at any show I've ever been to.

  11. as said, your car is one of the rare ones and as such would be worth a few bob. I would just show it as it is. its a tax free car, very low classic car insurance and after May 2018 you won't even need an mot for it. like me, you will love the shows experience.
