I think if my mobile had rung anymore today it would have literally melted. 12 hours, no break, walk in through the door. Seventeen messages on the home answerphone.

Well...nobody checks their boiler on in the summer, do they? That would be sensible. It's traditional to have it blow up in the Autumn.

we all had to work extra hard from time to time. What you need is a life balance. Work hard, make some money, then treat yourself to a holiday to relax and chill.

or go fishing at the weekend.

Last holiday the daughter asked to go fishing, was the best day of the holiday all the OT this time is paying for the new fridge and curtains (and steering box) so 12 hr days and Saturdays WILL get the bus finished, roll on the next holiday

i phoned my engineer up today to organise my boiler service, i said to his wife 'no rush anytime in the next 2 weeks' and i'm only off tuesdays and thursdays. she did sound a bit off.
at least i can tell him my oil tank needs replacing so there goes another grand or so........what the hell its only money.
