Was nice weather until today with a bit of drizzle and it's always windy on the tops. It's pouring down right now but we're sat in the boozer waiting for lamb stew and the big bonus it's quiz nite.

It probably crosses paths but it's just the dales ( best bit ) we were camped in Little Stainforth near Settle earlier in the week to do the big uns but now in Dent where it passes through so it'd be rude not to walk some of it. http://www.dalesway.org/route.html

Very much so - short and sweet . Ilkley to Bowness , 80-odd miles and easily do-able in 5 or six days . Walked it in winter 2006 (?) and loved every cold miserable step of it , Kettlewell to Sedburgh being my favorite stretch
