Well I'm pleased to announce that with the arrival of a small package from VWH, 10 minutes on my back under the camper, and another 10 minutes putting the gear stick back where it belongs, my gears are all back where they should be; and the resultant test drive did not this time end with an arduous journey stuck in 1st gear and a tailback of highly annoyed people heading towards Bournemouth. Hurrah!

I used to spend my teenage years standing around and watching my boyfriend and his friends whilst they tinkered with various old Vauxhall Vivas, Mark 2 Cortinas, and a particularly troublesome Datsun 120Y Coupe if I remember correctly.
