  2. :burp:

Me and another person up here have set up http://woodhornvwrally.co.uk and it's taken a LOT more time and effort than I thought so unless I can get some work I have put off done before Techenders I won't be able to make it but there is a slim (10%) chance I might still be there at some point over the weekend

  7. I can't make it to this one. :(
But just for my planning, is waxoyling an acceptable task for techenders? Or is it too messy?

Are you selling it? What size? I'm off to the van later to pour steering oil over the floor so will measure up my sun roof :)

  10. Cheers @paulcalf Only started it as other free VW event in the region is no more but should hopefully have about £500 to donate to the Best in Show's chosen charity which I think isn't too shabby for year one.

I've got a big bit spare from when I did all my headlining. I can get a pic of it if you like so you can see if it's OK for your van. If so let me know how much you want and I'll bring it to TE. All gratis by the way.

Don't see why not. Might need to put some tarps down but sure, why not. I'm sure others at TE would be interested in seeing how it's done too

  15. I may keep that to be done for the one next April then. Unless I find somewhere to do it before that...

  18. Mine was waxoiled and under sealed back in 2002 and im sure has helped keep it in good condition.

Any ideas how often it needs reapplying?

  19. More often than once every 14 years for sure. ;)
Waxoyling companies recommend at least partial reapplying every year I think.
But "Classic car monthly" did a very good benchmark test over 3 years:

(can't find the report for year 3 anymore... it's only the year 2 here but you get the idea)
