.Up for sale is my Raleigh chopper mk2 in purple.The frame has been painted a while ago and has a few small chips here and there.All the chrome is untouched and although pitted in places it all polishes up nicely.It's got a good set of tyres.It needs a new front brake cable and the gears needs setting up.It needs a few small items to finish it but it looks really nice.I had it hung on my man den wall for years .It has a sturmey archer front wheel dynamo hub which works but needs wiring up to the lights and it also has a really cool rocket bell attached to the handle bars.I had it on eBay a few weeks back and got £400 for it but the guy messed me about so i had to cancel the sale.I know i can get that for it again so i'm looking for around £400 for it but i am willing to take sensible offers.I'm, not desperate to sell it and will just wait until the right offer comes along.I can't post it as i would like the buyer to collect in person then there is no question of damage in transit.Thanks for reading. Ah such good memories ! Had a red one,my mate had a yellow one and another mate had a purple one ! The only three at the time in a village of 3000 people ! Good luck with sale . I remember looking for mine one day as a teenager and my dad saying he'd taken it to the tip !!......... but at the time it had gone a little rusty and was taking up space in garage.
okay i was keeping it now i've sold it.Just bought new cab door window trims,a new engine foam seal and a new deckled seal with some of the proceeds.It was a shame i had let it go but i like my bus more!!
