this camper is an abandoned project which comes with most of the parts required to complete a full restoration. already fitted are the full front panel (this part alone cost around £900) cab floor, repaired front chassis, cross members and jacking points plus inner sills. the drivers door is repaired as is the sliding door. the front passenger door is new but of the swage line type with a conventional door panel supplied. other new panels include load floor, full repair corners, rear side repair panels, outer sills, full front wheel arches etc the only major panels that need buying now are some rear chassis sections and new rear arch tubs. the type 3 engine has new crank and con rod bearings, low mileage 1641 pistons and barrels and new heads there is also a pop top roof that needs assembling should you want to turn it into a full camper ideal winter project for the right guy £3,500 ono
