What holds it on gearbox bracket as I thought that but po had it this way if you remembet it was totally mullered.
I can't really tell from you pic. The thin end slides iside the bracket on the gearbox, the fat end should be located on the end of a conduit. It shouldn't have the sharp bend in your photo.
Fittex with right end in gearbox but conduit is flush with chassis unless i can try to move it through chassis so its proud. Didnt try that. Ta
Never tried but in pic it doesnt pertrude past bracket on chassis so kinda guess its a maybe. May change jobs for techenders now. Lol
The bracket the holds the end of the conduit to the axle beam is original on the pic I posted. Yours has been repaired which is not unusual, but I think it may have lost an inch or so in length. The little bit extra would force the bowden tube into the correct "S" shape, smoothing out the bend (and making the clutch less sharp). Also, you said summat had suddenly changed? Take a look at the 2 bolts holding the upper bracket to the gearbox, if one is stripped or broken that might be your more immediate problem.
Checkef bolts other day there are new anyway will loosen off wingnut a bit tomorroe as got a long trip from Bude. Cheers bud
Cherers made it home last nite, removed bowden found its split and end where crimped on had broken. Gsf part 2 months old
