We just had it...half a dozen spots that nearly touched ground. We often get good ones from France...this was tres pathetique.

My keyboard only caters for Amurkan english so no grave, umlaut or wiggly thing that denotes a rolled consonant . As for european languages I was told that it was better to think in the language concerned rather than mentally translate, hence a possibly fluency in Esperanto when it gets jumbled up. (an age thing )
I seem unable to rest a tumbler of hard spirits on my rear bumper, it appears to slope. Should I post this in mech tech
Here's a odd one. I did French at school to a half decent standard, about 6 years ago we took the boys to Disneyland Paris for four days over Christmas including Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. The airline lost our luggage and after 8 hours hanging about in the airport waiting for it to turn up I traipsed over to lost luggage for a update. I think it was one Gaelic shrug too many and I went off on one in fluent French. Not just a little rant, but a tyrade. Satisfied I had got my point across I turned to gather up my family and get the next coach to Disney. The three of them just stood there mouth open and looking at me as if I had just smacked the bloke one. Since that moment I have never spoken anything akin to fluent French. I can muddle through, but for a few terse minutes the words flowed like the Seine. Life's funny isn't it?
I failed my French O'Level twice despite being in the top class and one hour of private tuition a week. Thirty eight years later and it still gets to me. I'm hoping to enroll on a welding course this summer (evening classes). If there's even a hint of a foreign language, I'm out of there! Monje two mon amy!
