Just seen my voting scores.... 1/3 says no, and 2/3 say yes.....that the bus will be in the sprayshop Monday..... Bring it on witches!
Think it's a push to the end now...only a few wires, tin ware, throttle cable and fuel line to go on.... Shame to stop with it so close now....
TLBers.... I would like to say...thank you for staying with us...I would like to say mine and my glamourious assistant's cherry has been popped....engine running... No fuel dripping...smashed... Shame on you six non believers! :-D
Right all will do a bit more of a what I did catch up tomorrow with the woes and wins breakdown...pint of barcardi time now! Ooossshhh!
Sorry for late reply, it was actually pretty good getting it all back on... the biggest bind was the engine mounting bar alignment with the body... once sorted it went straight in... SO glad it did, will report in the morning the major lows... but nothing too bad... have had a CRACKING day! Loved it!...
Seriously @Pickles if you did that job on your own...no wonder it nearly killed you..for me its a two person five handed job!
@Wonty that's reassuring to know I wasn't making a fuss about nothing I didn't take it out either so has been an exercise in working out where everything goes. Nearly there and might even try to start it up today.
If you had not seen it come out then I'm not surprised you have been scratching your head.. There was a bit near to when we finished about the order of some things...so we went through and checked the notes we had made as we went along...that's where we saw that we had taken the wires of the starter for some reason when we were having issues with the fuel bits...placed them back on and fired first time! Hope you have your win today... Keep us posted!
