  1. Well done mate great work enjoy

  2. A bit of a first week report

The main thing i have noticed during the first week of use and nearly 250miles, is the fooking massive grin on my face every time i give it some beans
It is wicked to drive and has been faultless thus far

A few things have come to light thou, which i will sort out off time and as i get the bits together
It's loud, very loud, so need to sort out the stainless exhaust and maybe move the air filter from behind the rear light as the induction roar echo's through the van
The interior needs boarding out with some sound deadening to damped down the road noise
Really could do with another gear, with the 4 speed box it revs just a little to high at cruising speed and would improve the MPG too
The front seems to sit higher than the back, so might fit the 30mm lowering springs i have to the front to level things out a bit, might even give a little nose down stance

  3. Not done a lot on the van just been driving around a lot

Did fit some new shocks and -30 springs to the front, was a pig of a job but all sorted in the end thanks to a bit hacksaw and welder action

Not a massive difference in height but it levels the van out as it sat higher at the front
Cant get away with going much lower at the moment till i sort the exhaust and a shortened sump out

  4. Had trip out today to pic up some parts for the T3
First off i had to drop the old boy at Cheltenham to pic his new car up, then i headed off to pontypool to pick up a carvelle sliding door, while i was there i had a few other bits and also picked up these beauties

Audi 18" with 225/40/18 tyres, need to get 1 new tyre as one has a major flat spot on, looks like the donor bus may had been dragged around with a stuck wheel, came with all the bolts etc, fitted straight on but needed to put some 5mm spacers on the front just to clear the grease cap which the speedo cable clips in to, but have a plan for modifying that so that i can fit the audi cap, plusI need 2 more bolts for the front wheels which have been ordered off eBay

  5. Will need refurb at some point, but they'll do for now:cool:

i had them wheels on my beetle love them

  7. As soon as I saw them on a scrapper the guy had in his yard I had to have them
Suit the bus well and were a bit of a bargain

  8. Well, finally managed to find someone to make an exhaust for the bus, and what a cracking job they did at MIJ performance in Walsall

    Loads of ground clearance now
The headers are as close to the heads as he could get them with the twin joined boxes tucked up behind the rear valance
And the sound is just awesome

  9. Have I spotted this is Stafford recently? If this was you, it Sounded ace and I was excited to see another wedge in town - had no idea it was a stealth sleeper!

  12. Mines not a runner ATM. Its a leisure drive camper with the Sydney opera house on top

Only had it a week so unless you spotted it on the recovery truck it's in hiding for a bit! Nice to know there's a few people close- I rarely see anything interesting around!
