  5. Today I have been mostly changing the headlining at the rear of my poptop. If you're considering doing this, don't. It's a job you'll wish you never started. The heading curves in three dimensions (or possibly several more that we're not aware of), and is a b*gger to shape right down the sides. In the end, I made up a template using the old lining with Duck tape additions. There is hope...

  8. Changed fuel pipes, 3/4 fitted new heat exchangers and exhuast system, the last 1/4 is proving to be a pig and may take some time.

Now you will know how poor they really are on fuel. Put the old one back in quick.

  13. I normally just put some in and keep it full but I normally guess how mush it will take but some times I'm £10 or more out so had to get it done

  14. Today, I have removed every last bit of crap that's built up in it, ready to go down to the garage tomorrow and have the rusty rear corners replaced.

  19. I painted the reflectors in my front indicator housings
Etch prime then a coat of rustoleum titanium silver then a coat of rustoleum light reflecting paint

  20. Finally refitted rear tin-wear and foam sealant strip. Fitted new stove pipe to connect with the pancake-replacement air filter. Replaced the perished rubber ends of the dizzy vacuum advance. Started it, ran it a while, wrapped it back up and came back inside and warmed up again...
