How is the season going Don? Trout was tricky on the rivers all summer. Going out on saturday to give this Czech nymphing (easy Ricky) a bash on the Aire. If it's hoofing down will hunkering under a brolly piking on the Ure. Looks like you're living the dream there bud.
So far I haven't had the pleasure Not too bad, plenty of browns are being taken & despite reports that Rainbow Trout are nonexistant we've got quite a few.
I'm gonna have to emmigrate for 6 months of the year. Didnt get out today, had over an inch and a half of rain yesterday, so that'd be the rivers up n tonking on. Next weekend, fingers crossed.
Went for a hike with Ms.T, eldest unmarried & a couple of friends today. Hard to believe we were skiing here only 6 weeks ago For reasons best known to themselves they had to go & have a sit on a rock in the middle of Spencers Creek & the view over Lake Jindabyne on the way home
Just a bit of water being let out of Lake Jindabyne & into the Snowy River. That will stir the fish up a bit down stream I wanted to take the kayaks down stream but Ms.T had other plans for my day
The clients wondered why we packed up early? You'd think they might have noticed this approaching, none of us thought it was a clever idea to be waving 7 or 8' of carbon graphite around in the air.
Hopefully the storms are being nice down South, we got away with it on the north side of brisbane last week, but only by a few miles, we only saw rain!!
here's a question for you TD....if you were planning to tour any part of Oz on a motorcycle, which bit would you do? for cities, wildlife and scenery?
Parts of Brisbane really copped it, glad you only got the rain. Hopefully you're settling in OK up there.
It would depend how long you had & what type of bike you were planning to ride. I'd probably start in Adelaide, then up through the hills & wineries, down to Mt.Gambier then on to the coast & follow The Great Ocean Road to Melbourne. From there down through Gippsland & up the coast to Bega then turn inland & through the Snowy Mountains & on to Canberra. From there back down to the coast & wend your way up to Sydney then up through the Blue Mountains to Bathurst, Orange & Dubbo then back across to Armidale & Tamworth to the coast near Byron Bay up to Brisbane & the surrounding area. It'd also depend on what time of year you were coming over here.

Nowt Czeching, bur it keeps you active I suppose. See what Sundaybrings, gonna be a bit blustery and wintery showers, bbbbrrrrrr. Right picture at last
