I think you could. The rule is the other way round. Looks spot on to me, can I be cheeky though - how much ££££'s?
No one would notice until you parked it next to an actual split that is. I guess the tipping point of worth doing is related to what they cost...is a solid bay worth drastically less than a tidy split?
Personally, I wouldn't have one, but purely because if I wanted a split I'd buy a split. They do look good on the photos; I'd be interested to have a good look at one to see how well it's been done. It'd also be good to see them parked with some proper splits to see how noticeable it is as @Moons says.
I have to agree with ricky I reckon that's a snip, sod the purists! I've seen bays that cost that and don't look as good as one of yours, and you have 2! What could possibly go wrong.
It makes you wonder what you could get 2 good bays off them for doesn't it! The conversions must have taken a lot of man hours...
