My beetle engined Subaru WRX

One mans lonely crusade to balance the books, to distribute justice, to avenge the fallen.

For I alone in this spinny planet we like to call Earth will be placing an air cooled beetle engine into my Subaru.

So I've found my donor car, it had chickens stored in it, and will lob the Subaru engine out.

I'll have leading questions on how I can go from 6 gears to hopefully struggling to find at least 2 of the 4 my vw gearbox will provide and will readily track the savings I make on antifreeze and middle diff oil.

Another one ripping the soul out of a poor Subaru!

 

I might mate two together so it's a bit like a daltec engine.

I'll call it the 'Pub Fight' or maybe the 'You spilt my pint' as there will be a plethora of boxers executing their trade with varying degrees of succes in my engine.

I want to install it as a 'slant 8' in homage to old vauxhalls that I likes a lot.

You are not alone, I'm pretty sure Matt Balls has installed an air-cooled engine in the back of a Golf.

 

This is one man's revenge on the invading Japanese hoards....I would consider installation into a Golf a Blue on Blue...
