I hope it's not gonna be another one of them wet years like a few years back Chilled out family camping in a great venue we just need the sun to shine

 

We will be in Suffolk ..... But hopefully in Ollie MOT Monday ......

Pros and cons for the weather, we were off to the seaside decided not to go so can take the van out for a longer drive and then get it ready for packing.
Cider, fire pit, charcoal, cider, bikes, cider and baked beans cider.
That's sorted then

i bowt some southern shandy , n a few foodee supplies yesterday , just writing check list , assume we arnt doing fancy dress now ? Bikes sorted (just fold ups but be ok for cycle paths and around rutland nice and light too). Looking forwards to the break need it had lota stress lately but must keep smiling thru . Have we been allocated field space or are we just parking anywhere? We are prob gona leave really early frid morning or poss thurs eve as dartford crossing m25 is a nightmare bank hol fridays, dont want to be sitting in jams . ya ba dub a doo.

 

When we went for a look a few months back the nice chap who runs it said we would be getting our own field, there is about 5 different fields and a few other groups camping as well as for fancy dress i'm happy to go along with the majority, we need some of the women to come on ( @Tiny-Pie @lola @loudoo2 ) and tell us what we're doing. if your coming up Thursday @Barneyrubble you can park on our drive if you want

 

Ah yes the cider must remember the cider

 

There ain't much time to spring camp to sort out fancy dress so why not come as what ever you want!! Fancy dress night is Saturday night, might even do a prize

 

I'm happy if people want fancy dress to do it, and for everybody to wear what they want and we just guess what they've come as

 

Just got back from Melton Mowbray, a local town to the camp site. There is a local food fare on in Melton selling their famous pork pies and local cheeses all over the weekend.

If anyone one is thinking of visiting the local area it may be worth a visit.

cheers woody , we will probably leave 4 in morning frid , that way we get across before traffic starts ta build and the crossing is open so no ques , also bus will be well loaded so no room for kipping . Just got back from forgewood camp site for the night in Raymond .A shakedown run.All good looking forward to next weekend.

 

I'm not sure what time i'm getting there @Barneyrubble , Lou is working till five so I might come earlier about lunchtime, then she can come over later in the Beetle

I gave the bus a run today and called in to check everything's ok for next week, Here's a few photos of where he's gonna put us, not a bad view is it, and don't forget to bring your bikes coz we're right on the cycle track
