I've never seen a sunroof that didn't leak, they aren't near enough the roof profile.
All the bits look right for the year, so that's saved a 50 page thread!

  17. Hi and welcome :) Nice bus - Devon roof looks like it's had a new cap added too. Crossover model with some early bits and mostly late bits and as far as I can tell built on a Kombi or minibus base - your VIN will tell you that anyways.

  18. So yesterday was pick up day - after a 5 hour train journey I arrived at Hereford in the pouring rain and Had a good look round the camper. Original plates all present. Used to be a darker green at one time think delta green. dont think its original engine as code is different to that of the V5 - runs like a dream though. had a Marmitety aftermarket air filter that was blocked so whipped it off. nice solid camper had a bit of welding done but what UK camper hasn't. r n r bed all working and all round devon pop top roof in great working order. 240v hook up all cabled in and fridge etc

So I was buzzing to get her home, let's just say the flooding is bad down south  . set off struggling to work the gears and made it to petrol station - turns out the camper has done 10 miles in the 3 years according to the MOT garage - elderly owner just wanted to keep it on the road. put some fresh juice in her and away we went. made it onto the back roads in the middle of the storm wind and rain battering the poor bay! she must wonder whats going on! right indicator was bit tempermental and the dash lights didn't work but on we went!

though a flooded Worchester and onto the M5 north. this was 6pm last night ! so 3 hours and 165 miles later without any stops I made it home and the engine never missed a beat the whole journey. don't get me wrong lorries scare me in a storm with rain lol! may the good fortune continue...

  19. I thought my dash lights weren't working for the first two years, I replaced all the bulbs before I found out that you twist the pull knob to turn them up...... Hey presto
