Finally pulled my finger out and got started in the bus's winter re-vamp. Put it up on axle stands, all four corners removed heat exchangers and exhaust pics of the new and old
Bought a few bits and bobs while I was in america. Silicon hoses to replace the 33 year old ones Also a bracket for holding the table leg on the outside of the bus in the jacking point
This is going in to have the gearbox fixed son I might be able to take the westy out and clear my garage to make enough room to do some work on it!!
wow great work mate, looking very good, cant wait to get my engine replaced and start tarting it up to use it
Painted my propane tank and fitted all the new fittings I got for it. Just need to fit it to the van and then fit the gas connection
Dash looks great Can i ask where you got your new tank fittings and how much? I've still got my tank but the fittings are past there best.
gto them from this guy: http://community-2.webtv.net/VanStuff/VanagonWestfalia/ I got them from him because he has the bleeder valve, only place i have found it.
Nice work. Do the mats cover the flat bit of the wheel tub behind the seat? Mine stop short & it winds me up.
There was never a side piece repop'd for the westy so I haven't done it yet, not sure how I'll do it bit I will figure something out.
Im not going to use mats im going to use this stuff then i can cover where i like http://www.protectakote.co.uk/kits.htm
