Stran Strangely not everything sold in Halfords is an imitation of the Real Thing. Just be careful not to spread oil and muck onto the pressure plate, or it will judder when refitted (although small quantities seem to burn off after a while - I had occasional judder with slight contamination from a crankcase oil seal leak that would clear up if I carried on driving it) Also remember that there may still be asbestos around from old clutch plates. Dont breathe the dust anyway.
Cool. Ta. Seems that these days Halfords is the only place to go! What happened to them little independent Auto Traders?
Halfords cornered the market and all the independents shut down! I know of two that are still going strong and good.
