Thanks matey. Yep, we do the late ones too as well as early. Do let me know what year is your bug? And what Color too. Would work something out for you
These are not somthing that would go with the theme of my bus However they are bright and cheerfull and i really can appreciate the amount of time and care thats gone into making them Best of luck with your venture
Thanks my friend. It sure takes lot of work, precision and time to come up with a set of these as literally thousands of pieces have to be pieced together to bring out the true colors of this art which has been internationally covered even by the VW magazines in USA, Brazil, France and ofcourse Mexico. http://www.maxicar.com.br/old/gromow/660365colunista_gromow_0411.asp
Umm so just basic 3m wrap then with a chosen colour and design. Sound's a lot of money. Indian art is hand painted isn't it. So why are they using 3m.
Indian Art is totally a different piece of work. If you would read the details in the samba ad you would understand the difference rather completely. We're using 3M reflective tape because this does what it does best...REFLECT:
Just look how flat the 3m is and so smooth, doesn't look built up to me. Am sure it can be replicated easily.
Am not saying they don't look good or anything like that, it just looks flat and could be done with your own hub caps using a printed 3m. Or even better paint a design yourself and have loads of fun on the way.
you really need to read this article I provided link of, and if you would still think its an easy job, I will agree. You can use google translate to read the article here is the link again:http://www.maxicar.com.br/old/gromow/660365colunista_gromow_0411.asp
If there done with one printed sheet of vinyl wrap then there not as unique as we would expect them to be However the different colour of reflective material isnt easily put onto one sheet Just cutting out the pieces and sticking them into place whilst remembering which piece went on first to build up the finished product That requires a level of skill, patience and self disipline thats not easy to muster Im the same with my tinware and enamel paint the amount of time that goes into them makes them prohibitive to be sold If i was to do those hubcaps with enamel paint then it would take me a week of evenings per hubcap
thanks matey and since we are on the topic of truck art and indian art, here is one to your liking: the painted truck art on "FOXY SHEHZADI" the Beetle that became a cultural ambassador across continent and took Dr. Vincent to France by road. http://archives.dawn.com/archives/66469 and another http://wondersofpakistan.wordpress....akistan-a-french-doctor-takes-6000-mile-ride/
