Dentists aren’t the most popular people in the world. But without them, we’d all have terrible teeth, and no doubt forget to floss or get regular check-ups. What would we do without dentists when we get tooth-ache, and need help with braces and fillings? This Dentist Day, consider that dentists aren’t the bad guys, that they’re real people too, and that you probably aught to take better care of your teeth. I don't mind going to the dentist, I just don't like paying him. I don't like the hygienist much either. Never shuts up I know that a few people on here like to do their own extractions.....
I'm going to the dentist's in two hours time! Where I shall undoubtedly be relieved of yet more cash that was destined for my bus. x2.
when my dentist gives my bill i say to him " pull the other one " thats why i havnt got any teeth, ( this statement is a joke , poor i know but it is a joke )
@BagHead would prefer this. Personally it is a toss up who'll cost less & at least plumbers will make housecalls
luckily i have pretty good teeth...no fillings, blackness e.t.c i'm pretty sjre it's because i drink sooo much milk.. can't remember the last time i went to the dentist...
Been, no work needed. All over in a jiffy. By my reckoning they're charging the equivalent of £210/hour, that's nearly as much as some Plumbers!
I was put off the Dentist at an early age. I am old enough to remember when you had to have gas just for a filling and being sick as a dog when you came round but the real wake up call was when I witnessed the Dentist drilling through my Dad's tooth straight into his nerve - I thought the old chap was going to clock him as he jumped straight out of the chair with his fists clenched.
Good old mercury fillings into perfectly good teeth by the school dentist who was just bumping up his wages done for most of us kids of the 60s - had a new front tooth recently
I had a tooth yanked out of my head yesterday and now there is a massive gaping hole (No it's not my mouth before anyone says that grrr)
