Translations please

Ok so I'm a bit slow ....we all know that (except Mrs Diddymen )

but can you translate the new things on this site so I can understand what they are

what is 'likes' is that the same as karma was?
what does followed mean? .....does some one who is following you get updated when you post?or a restraining order?
What are the points for, are they like karma or is that what 'likes' are now
what are trophies? ....it says I was awarded a trophy for 1000 messages ....are messages the amount of times you have posted? .....and why do I get a trophy for them? ......and I've not posted 1000 times on the new forum yet
how do I give karma?

.....I've seen watched thread too, is that for some one who has been bad ?

I guess likes are similar to karma. You can't give karma so give a like.

Trophies and points are features that come as standard, not sure we need them but don't want to disable just yet unless we're sure.
