I've always been a fan of fast Fords (owned quite a few RS's in my time before I grew up and got a late bay) - but nearly £600k for a Sierra! linky
Don’t think it’s a run of the mill resto. As I understand it, it’s one of about 500 limited editions created to allow Ford to try and compete with BMW’s in the Touring Car Championship. It’s original and low mileage, but it’s still about £550k too much.
I’m pretty sure I used to work with the guy that owned that, he has 4 others including two blue ones and a white one. His daily is a Cosworth Saphire 4x4, least it was when I worked with him in 2017, really nice bloke.
Blimey!! That’s the price it actually went for! I should have kept my Capris and retired! Two of my latest ones were a 2.8i Special and a 3 litre ghia. Why oh why did I put my cash into camper vans!
Crazy talk innit! Horrible looking things imo. Probably a blast to drive round a track, but still…. *insert vomiting emoji here*
What’s that advert…. “need to go to Specsavers”. ….. a fine looking vehicle …. “the car you always promised yourself “.
One of the lads I grew up with had a 3.0S with the fishnet recaro seats, that thing flew it had triple weber carbs fitted instead of the single carb.
