    That is bizarre. Were you saving it for some weird kind of dinner party?

    Reminds me, I must defrost those pangolins. They've been in the freezer for ages :rolleyes:.

    OK It flew into a window at work. I’d never seen one close up and it was too beautiful to bury. I’ve shown it to loads of kids , 80% of them awestruck, 10% grossed out and 10% just, duh, blank. So a winner generally.
    I’ve hung on to it for show n tell purposes really. It’s quite hard to part myself from it!
    I offered it to anyone home schooling kids via our local FB network. And now people are avoiding me. :(

    I second that. Any mourners though, Green Finches, Jays, Curlews etc, make sure they maintain social distancing.

    Have school children and anxious parents started crossing the road before they get to your house? ;)

    I feel that as I have actually met you in the flesh I will have to vouch for you at this point in case you have come across as a total loon with the frozen kingfisher shock disclosure!

    I have met @Kkkaty and can testify that although she is a bit of a krank she is not a complete nutter and actually very nice :D

    Um, rude! I beg to differ mr travelalot it is a fine recommendation of which I feel @Kkkaty will be very pleased with as she realises what a sensible person I am and fine judge of character ;)
