Ever since the first version of a guitar was created, man has desired to escape the mundane and take some time to dream. Bards and storytellers of old became the pop stars of today. All with the ability to make music and take us along on their adventures. Whether it is the heartache of relationships or the ringing anthems of those who seek for change, the music sweeps us up and gathers us along. So run up to the loft or down into the cellar and get that guitar out of hiding. Or, in the case of @Terrordales, move a few pallets I play most days on one or other of my collection. I only picked up my 12-string over the weekend and gave it a tune-up.
No need for pallet moving, all my guitars are in the music room. My 3 new ones are yet to arrive so I may get the Strat out for a while, or the Tele, or the Jaguar but actually I'll probably play either my Laskin, the Taylor or the Ovation.
I have been mainly playing my Antoria gold top since I restored it, so shall take this opportunity to dig the Strat out and give that a strum for a change.
I've been trying to play mine a little more over the past few months. Drowns out the arguing of our neighbours!
Played my Epiphone semi acoustic last sat night. Mate came round for a jam.(not a preserve), for a laugh.
I play my acoustic most days as it sits in the lounge... but maybe I may have to take a lead from @Terrordales and see if the a Strat, Tele or Jaguar would be a better option this evening....
I think all these musicians - plus anyone who can play anything or sing - should come to Techenders for a mass jammin’ sesh.
If anyone gets a guitar out on a campsite you are legally obliged to beat them with it until they beg for forgiveness
I think Jay from the Inbetweeners summed it up best... "oh for ***** sake, there is always some **** with a guitar isn't there"
Saw this bass Fender in our local auction and thought of you lot. Next lot, 422, is a Gibson Les Paul. They’re flipping exxy, good heavens. https://www.easyliveauction.com/cat...2e81eb9357e7ef448a6646f/general-sale-lot-421/
