Just getting ready for bed and I heard a sound that I thought was the big pub recycling bin emptying the glass out but followed by a familiar sound of a car crashing..... https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-england-cornwall-50999186 look out The bedroom window and I can see the bottom of a 4x4 pointing up in the car park 20ft below the road in front of the house. Put me tousers on an shoes and leg it out - hear some poor sod trying to get out the car- he’s trapped. Over the gate to the car park and put the side window through with a rock and help him out. He’s lucky not to be very dead. Walked away (into police custody)
Wow We had a big smash local to us in the morning after new years 4 cars all crumpled and the culprit was way over the limit. I genuinely thought no one drove drunk anymore
Well done on the rescue Matty Could you clarify the difference between dead, slightly dead and very dead. Is it a Bristol or Cornish thing?
Oops. Just pleased your vehicles weren’t among the casualties. I thought drink-driving was still permitted under Cornish law? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He’s lucky that crash didn’t happen in Hollywood or his car would definitely have exploded on impact. Personally I think they should do a quick breath test when they turn up to an accident. If the drivers over the limit then just leave them in there to die. Thats saving valuable money that can then be spent on someone more deserving.
Might be dead hurts more coz you could be nearly but hurting coz you don’t know .somethings can be deadly but not hurt , I hope this hurts oooops I mean helups
hmmm - S’pose Cornish would have been dead dreckly - which would be dead soon or later on or maybe never.
Christ!!!! I once saw Doug’s wallet - it had Tony Robinson, that odd beard man ( not @pkrboo) and the rest of Timeteam digging away....
