Just tried fitting the ‘standard size’ that a well known online VW retailer sent me, only to find the con rods wouldn’t budge - turns out they’ve sent me .25 undersized. they’re brand new, apart from a smear of oil and a couple of light scuffs from being fitted to the con rods. £15 posted? edit - for a 1.8l Type 4 engine
