Of course! ALWAYS look in ALL the unexpected places .... Anyhoo, on a more serious note, I'm often looking for this one: What the?! .....
Bet the Rozzers weren't impressed when you wrote that on the form ... It's just a cry for attention. Will be back just as soon as you get a replacement
I have found that the best way to find a lost tool - is to go and buy another - and as if by magic it appears - and you have a spare.
Whilst on about tools, what or would you use to remove the circlip on the wiper spindles.... Suggestions most welcome.
13mm socket. There must be loads of the buggers in my workshop somewhere! Unless they are rattling about in engine bays round Norfolk...
13mm spanner here too. Torx bits, they get used seldomly and slowly move to the back of the tool box. Once in the gravity well its heyho event horizon and next thing you know they're an incredibly strong pulse of x rays.
One of our favourites used to be magnetic inspection lamps..... been all around the country some of 'em.... we've also had some come back & found them on the next job! "Ahh! That's where the torch went!" We'd been looking for it for months!
1/2 inch AF open ender. Most needed on my MG but its mixed up in the metric tool box! Next time I find must tie it on a bit of string and dangle it from the boot hinge!
