    dear all,

I’ve stopped in the A46 nr Cov for a cuppa as I’m a bit chilly. I can’t remember how my heating levers go to stop cold air coming in and instead warm me with mildly petroly warmth from the engine.

    I’ve got 3 levers and I’m a lhd

Please help. I’m en route Sheffield and May have perished by Nottingham!

    Ta x

Hey MC, get yourself some clear polythenes of some description and make a cab divider behind the cab seats. Stick it up with gaffer tape and run it till the summer comes back. A lot lot easier to heat or warm a small area and halving the droughts helps too. Pop your front grill off and cling film it to marmitey and back then pop your grill back on. Any mahoosive droughts can usually be sorted with blue tack :)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,Oh,, and fix your heating, it actually works well.:)

I’ve got two red and one blue I think . Thanks

  5. Blue up shuts fresh air flaps. Middle red, up for floor down for screen. End red fully down for max heat (what there is of it)

  6. The number of levers shouldn't matter, assuming I can think my way thru what's normally automatic, muscle memory, activity; it's the colour that's the key.

  7. Go cold, you won't feel the benifit when you get there if you don't.

Ta :)Think I may need a how to sticker on my dash! I may have blue down

I’ve put my joggers and cardigan on so that should help :).

Having a toasty too for warmth and energy.

At Tibshelf Svc and pleasantly warm :). As the van has been driving so well and doing quite a bit of over taking I thought it deserved a breather.

    I’ve been channeling Sabine Schmidt!

  13. Get @Ermintrude to run you up a curtain to section off your cab with a hole for looking thru with rear view mirror then geta springy pole to fit , cabin then get warm enough to wear bikini in winter whilst driving between cake n coffee stops :D:thumbsup:

Pop off the round vents either corner of the dash (they just pull straight out) and shove rags/socks/whatever you have in there.
This next thing wont help you right now but i recently took off the front outside vent and sealed up the 2 flaps behind it with double sided foam tape. They always allowed some air in even when cold. Its RARE that it gets so warm that you need extra fresh air and if it does, just open a window.

Actually I’ve got curtains that separate the cab but on the mway I prefer full mirrors vision just in case!

  16. That’s really...pervy

I thought you'd been living in Yorkshire long enough to be used to mild weather.
