  2. Yes I've got one, fits well in my 72 Devon, very heavy duty.

  6. What do I need to do to fit them to my (not a proper campervan) panel converted bus? I had a 3 point bracket thing in place I assume Devon did but oiked it out ages ago and there was no apparent strengthening of the inner panel.

  7. Did you have to add anything to fit??

And what type of belt did you use? Static or real? Any pics!!!

If you post some photos of what you have we should, between us, be able to confirm what you need to do .... My "interest" to declare here would be in passing on a new pair of the very well put together brackets that I had from @davidoft, that I haven't fitted because it would mean making extra holes in them (to raise and angle them for getting around the fuel filler bump that gets in the way on our early bus) and I suspect that would weaken them .... First photo is what the static seat beast was attached too. Devin fitted it I think, so I’m assuming it’s not “original”

Is this somewhere I can mount @davidofts bracket?

But only thing is there is no captive nut

  11. On closer look, looks like there two skins of metal there, a reinforcement? Or was this the area VW inforced for the belt?

That’s the spare wheel stand offs, @volkswombat welded his rear frame up to allow seatbelt fitment

  14. Here is the bracket that was mounted with the static seatbelt, is Devon’s mod really to be trusted?

I'd say having the two skins (in addition to the outer panel?) is good as you could link them and get some depth to your attachment .... As for the little brackets shown there, I have absolutely NO idea!

  18. I dont think thats a Devon fixture as 1) I don't have one in my bus and 2) it looks carp even by Devon's standards.
