  1. Been enjoying the tech and bantage.

Aquired a beetle for something that was dear to me and rekindled the VW Interest in me.

Have been in search of the right bus for awhile and the bug fell into my lap.

From I don't know what the I don't know the weather is doing. Eugene Oregon USA.

    Thanks for having me. [IMG][IMG]

Apparently ‘bantage’ is an exclamation used in order to stop someone from turning a statement into a sexual innuendo; mainly used to prevent the use of the 'That's what she said' phrase. But of course it could mean something entirely different in American English.

Welcome from France. It looks like you have one or two other projects in the yard.

  10. Hi from West Lancashire - 15 north of Liverpool

  11. Thanks for the warm welcome.
Ah yes banter, guess I was making words up.
The pictures were taken at a friend's house where I picked up the bug. He's on about 5 acres of random cars. 3 or 4 bugs in different stages of dismantle. No volkswagen bus's though. He's in the desert about 175 miles away. I like getting out there for a weekend and looking at it all.
I learned to drive in a 63 tin top and have had a variety of air cooled VW's and a 914.
Anyway happy to be tinkering on an old vw again. She's rust free so mostly correcting previous tinkers mistakes. 1974 standard beetle named Bobby for the brilliant orange. [IMG][IMG]
