I had that too, as soon as I saw the pic I started singing Depeche Mode

 

New bit of exhaust fitted to the caravelle. Old rotten bit just fell off after the bolts were removed. New one fought me all the way. In the end i had to remove the oil filter as it was in the way and used a length of 2x4 to lever the exhaust into place so the bolts were lined up.

 

I swear that's who turned up in these today:


I'd say they were all owned from new by the look of the riders!

 

In answer to the question “can you fit a full sheet of marine ply in a bay window?”. Just about!

Are you going full or 3/4 width bed?

 

I’ve got a 3/4 rusty lee to go in. Did some back of an envelope calculations and was going to do it in 3 sections. One big section that is the full width of the van and goes back as far as the width of the ply allows (1220mm). Then 2 smaller sections towards the back of the van which I think should just be under the bed so hopefully the join is hidden under that and the cabinets.
