If you can fit an awning rail like this one into the gutter - depends if you want to drill holes in the gutter/roof OR you could use Sikflex to stick a plastic rail on.

I'm sure you can get the rail cheaper than the company advertising this one
    https://camperessentials.co.uk/shop/awning-rail-vw-t2-bay-window/

Then you can stitch some of the Kador piping onto the canopy and it slides into the rail.

I bet you've already considered this.

As for making TE? Not sure yet. A lot going on and my bus might not be on the road over Easte as it needs some welding done and half of the interior is has been taken out, and other things in my life have got in the way of opportunities to get the prep done for it
One positive bit of news folks - I've got an interview for Hospital radio tomorrow morning. Only an hour slot at the moment but a start.

I had some like that on the Vanfest where there was a mini tornado and my awning stayed on

Starting early owing to the Specials being in Leicester on the Wednesday night, and having a little holiday :)

  10. I’m hoping to come it’s been a while since I’ve been and caught up with folk.
Looking at the list there’s a lot of folk I need to meet for the first time

Mrs para has got the weekend as holiday so I’m time free

However I can’t commit fully as ive got to see what the specialist has to say over the next few appointments following my heart attack .
Added to that I found out a few weeks ago my uncle has prostate cancer
And I’ve just found out from my mum tonight that the lump on my mums kidney is cancerous and it’s spread to her lung.

So once again in my life everything is going tits up

I do want to be there this year though
    I
    Think it would do
    Me good

    Be careful with them Si.
Check them thoroughly and regularly. The last one I got from there leaked. In fact it's still sat outside on our pontoon!
Genuine Calor filled Camping-Gaz cylinders have plastic security caps.
Those ones are cheap for a reason....;)

  14. That`s what i was looking to do , more to protect the new paint than anything else but it`d have to fit on the gutter ..

My previous `68 tin top had that set up but about 4 inches up from the gutter and worked well .

  15. Not sure there is enough space, on my set up, to insert an awning rail.

Hopefully someone will bring some off cuts to techenders so I can be sure
