  5. Don't be riddiculous man, the last thing you want when your creeping down stairs in the middle of the night as a secret lemonade drinker, is for your flooring to blow a large peppermint scented bubble thus waking Mrs Snotty and ruining your midnight schlurp! Just use the Blu tack.

    End thread:thumbsup:

Ply, over floor boards. I can’t remember the thickness. Whatever Amtico recommended. The adhesive was from screwfix. In the carpet shop they didn’t have the amtico adhesive so the guy told me which one to get from screwfix that was the same type but cheaper. :) I’ve still got the tub in the garage so could look at it tomorrow.

Here is my a bit grubby bathroom amtico floor plus cat

I laid Karndean planks in the boat about 6 years ago. The sub floor is marine ply and I filled all the indentations, joins etc.
The F46 is dead easy to use and the floor hasn't shifted and still looks like new.
It's a harsh environment, below the waterline but the flooring is easy to keep clean and I'd do the same again in a heartbeat.
Btw, a previous life saw me as euro marketing mgr for a global industrial adhesives manufacturer. Flooring wasn't my division but the parent remains one of the biggest players in flooring, lino and vinyl laminates being core business ;)

Meant to say Snotts that there's a good application video in that link.

  19. But why not have real wood or go for a vinyl print that’s not pretending?

It reminds me of the old wood panel effect wallpaper I found pasted on the wood panelling in the bathroom, or these...
