my mate did a hovis ad filmed in yorkshire... or was it for yorkshire tea It gets aired every time the full monty is on telly (cos he's in that) but don't think he minds cos he still gets paid every time

We have gravel and mud mix

Won’t be that long before the tourists are back at the campsite wandering around the village taking pictures of me gardening and telling me how lucky I am to live here how quaint it is etc

ha, yep same here! this summer a tourist leaned over my wall and blatantly took a pic of me on the lawn with the cat! not a word, just took pic and went. there's signs up around telling tourists that it's where people live - apparently some neighbours have had tourists peering into their windows and taking pics!

no apology needed. it's horrible what landlords are allowed to get away with. years ago, when i rented, i withheld my rent until they sorted issues out- it soon focused their priorities! not sure what the contracts are like now but worth looking into.
also, they should hold your deposit in a separate account now - think Shelter has a lot of info on it.
