No Bath

  1. We are thinking about having the bathroom redone. Have you had yours done without a bath, have you regretted it?
We want a walk in shower, not over the bath type one we have now but think its going to be a squeeze to get it in. Without a bath it can be a big walk in one, we are not intending to move at all.
The plumbers on here might be able to answer it, have you fitted many without baths, have the customers regretted it.

I would miss a bath. Nice hot soak in the winter.

  3. Many folk on here go without a bath for months on end, so shouldn't be a problem

  4. When we did ours we were told to put a bath in as a selling point, we're still here 10 years on and the bath only gets used when we have visitors that bring those small noisy things with them, er......children that's it. Many young ones don't like showers. I only mention this as the likely hood of us becoming parents is non existent, however you might see grandchildren in your future.

  5. We rented a house that only had a shower.
    I wouldn’t do it again.

  6. I have a p-shaped Bath with a shower over. Loads more space for yer elbows etc. Only drawback is that on the odd occasion we have a bath it uses 20% more water.
But that’s not frequent so for me it’s a good compromise. Feels as spacious as a walk in.

  7. You could always make do with a tin one in front of the fire like they do up north.

  8. I have a bath with shower over. Its an age thing, but I don't like a bath anymore as its a hazard to climb in and even harder to get out. I would go for your nice big walk in shower. Safer, convenient and use much less water.

Do you hang it from the coal shed when you're not using it?

  11. Personally I like a bath because I smell.

  12. If I were going to remove the bath I’d do away with the shower tray altogether and have a wet room.

  13. A lot of modern flats I work in all have baths and I rarely come across a house or flat without a bath

  14. Walk-in shower, hot tub in the garden best of both worlds job done :)

I’m not a massive bath fan but once we lived on the farm and had no bath I missed it. I recommend to customers to keep a bath if possible unless they physically struggle to get in a bath.

Just managed to fit this bath and shower where before there was no shower, only a bath :)

  19. What the hells wrong with you lot?
The toilets got water in it. Use that to wash. Then flush.
