here is my 75 bay which il be restoring over the next 10 months ready hopefully for may 2019 she needs , new front clip , new rear crossmember , and il be doing a removable rear box section similar to prototype bay but done my way ive already fitted a new part/chassis leg to rear right and battery tray , also will be tackling the left side rear arch that has been bodged by someone , also and perhaps the biggest nightmare is the roof as ive removed the turret top and will be welding in a secondhand roof section toyed with a plexiglass roof section but couldn't find anyone that had done this b4 as a guide , hold onto your hats this could get messy
as you can see ive stripped most of the interior and will be chucking the pug 206 seats that a previous owner fitted,
il also be doing a power steering conversion so the memsahb can drive it too , ive got some secondhand empi 5 s to get refurbed too and a colour change back to its original Neptune blue and il do the roof lotus white , that's the plan anyway , dvla now have the birth certificate to re register on 75 plates as it originally came from france in 1982 imported to the uk hence the stupid y plate , welding will commence in about a week when I have all the bits and bobs I need il keep the pics coming once I start
Interested in the power steering instal. It looks straightforward enough, but would be nice to see someone else iron out the niggles first. Keep the pictures coming and good luck
so today removed the horrible pug 206 drivers seat the passenger one went in the skip a few weeks ago, to reveal this mess ,il need a cut of a donor bus that's for sure
removed dash top to reveal this mess too , so inner windscreen panel will be replaced too ,as well as new front clip
