Anyone used the small gun type sandblaster for doing small areas. https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/2177303885418576245?q=diy sandblasting gun&client=safari&sa=X&hl=en-gb&biw=320&bih=450&tbs=vw:l,ss:44&prmd=sivn&prds=epd:18344486118303508435,paur:ClkAsKraX2umn7M2weXj6fLex9xtD6iAqoJaHifHEtvXxZkbPLoO0TX1O4hD4mmVMFGacYctioEeT2L9W6xcb8ZkOueYmTUHQTrtQoMtk4kHckLPKdUS1hXaeRIZAFPVH70BX1iBvzyqwuNMdhgq2zS5jQvTwg,cdl:1,cs:1&ved=0ahUKEwjw3M6Qz-fbAhWNZlAKHTMVB_0QgTYIpgQ
I bought one of the 10 or 20 gallon pot things and did the entire engine bay, that was slow enough. If you are doing a door hing with it it will probably be fine
I use a spot blaster and pot gun like you linked too, the best is the Seeley sandblaster kit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-S...273254?hash=item1e9df7ac26:g:jqsAAOSw7zlalY2H Apart from the spotblaster you need a lot of air or keep waiting for the pressure to build and the media goes everywhere but does a good job.
It is the size of the compressor pump, you need around 3 cfm (cubic feet minute) around 2hp motor size for near continuous use rather than the reservoir tank size although the bigger the tank the longer it will last until it runs down if the pump cant keep up.
You need large cfm, I have a 14cfm 150L 3hp compressor and that gives me about 3 to 4 minutes of blasting before I have to wait about a couple minutes for the compressor to catch up. I’m using a 20L pressure pot blaster.
