  1. The local constabulary may not like your plates ;)...

  2. very neat.

btw - my MOT man says my small front plate won't pass mot next year, i'll need proper sized uk fonts etc i'm guessing you might also come across that with your usa style front?

  4. Yep ... my MOT garage let me have proper ones on the front seat ;) Hopefully that will continue

  5. TBH I've always run quirky plates ... on my classic Mercs I always had the German style front and rear white ones .... touch wood never a problem .... I bet you ANPR can still read them to fine me !

  6. Stuck my Quiet-O-Stuff panels to the roof of the engine bay...

  7. Has it made much difference?

  8. Haven't taken it out yet. Will be louder anyway, as my rear cushions are at the trimmers. We'll see. Looks pretty neat, whatever it does

  9. PS @crossy2112 was right. The glue sticks like sh*te. You've got one chance to position them, then it's all over.

  10. Rear bumper shot blasted and painted and impact ... sorry "deluxe" trim fitted

It really is pretty poor that you pay a small fortune and tbh the rubber on the rear is only just long enough to meet the end caps ...

I’ve got similar stuff for mine as well as bitumen type panels - the ones favoured by your car audio ‘fools’...
Stuck the foamy stuff on the top engine bay hatch and some bitumen ones on the rear hatch and all the doors and left it at that.
Loads left over! It does all help though!

  13. Bitumen pads on the panels can make all the difference. And they cost next to nothing

  14. Fitted 4 new shocks KYB gas adjust, HD front anti roll bar and rear anti roll bar. Should handle like a Ferrari now;)

  15. Right, been out for a spin to Danebury and back. No interior in my van, so everything makes a racket, but I'd say the foam pads do make a difference. They seem to cut down the high-frequency noise. Worth having I reckon, and better then looking at bare metal ribs in your engine room

    Started 0900
Got fed up with the hole in the floor under my heel. Made it bigger with a hammer.
    20180512_085055.jpg

    Then cut it out
    20180512_111012.jpg

Then filled the hole with metal

    20180512_115838.jpg

And whacked filler and paint on top and filler stone chip and underseal underneath.

Quick job .. Soon I will need to redo the whole of the front floor and everything behind and including the deformation panel.
    Finished 1500.

Then went back inside and found that a courier had delivered a second hand DAVCOM 2000 (indicator stalks) unit for my Peugueot 307 so I went out and fitted that to the Peugeot. Which went 100% to plan and took about 30 mins.
