Daisy 1973 full resto "5 years on"

  1. Yes mate same colours as before cream top beige bottom, be on drive under tent and cover no where else to do work !!

  3. I leave it inside with a cover over it mate best I can do but he bakes it a good while after as he knows I'm mad and work on my drive

  4. The loves still there but down with a knackered back and the lurgy lost me a month - was hoping for techenders but ....

  6. Another night of sanding !!! Boot lid now done and nearly finished the boot lid just need to drill the new rear script holes and allso finished the rear corner 320 ect not muscular lament now just 1 door complete and knock off the other rear corner and sills

Done another late night sanding had mrs daisy into help but she got front bumper down tomoz is last night all I got is 1 little repair I found under the tiny rust bubbles was a massive hole and that's the door done it's all sanded then the fire wall and rear bumper and she is ready for the booth on sat !!

    This is only half hours work to repair not that bad now the body it totally done

Had the afternoon going over the rest just touching up missed bits ect but all seems good , repaired door and skimmed it all down finished the fire wall and bumpers and track covers loaded em all up and that's a rap just gonna tow her to paint a shop in morning clean her off and start to mask off the gaps and then bake it to dry it out and in the afternoon I'll prima it then bake her good !! Then more sanding [​IMG][​IMG]
    All the practice making panels on the beetle made this small repair a nice clean job
    And that's it shall report back tomoz with the paint all on her with a bit of luck ......... see u on the other side

  18. Will be on the road I recon in next 2/3 weeks I'm playing a huge order tonight after prima so Iv got all the bits ready to fit and start painting all the bits and pieces ready this week
