It has many benefits but not many wonder from the tracks which is handy It’s my closest place to here where I feel I’m myself Can you spot me in the above pic lol I’m quite fond of the place
Had a cracking night snow ride with some mates in the lakes this week....up stoney croft , almost to sail, and back down rigg beck , a sphincter twitching climb/ride
The plantation above Hackfall has some good runs for the mountain board. Check out Eavestone near Brimham Rocks. Lakes, gritstone crags and lots of rhododendrons.
Your nutters I love it So many people sat indoors moaning how crap life is A good chunk of them will never experience the magic of going out and doing something when most are tucked up
I suggest You and the good lady popping over for a weekend Drinks at home Friday Hackfall Sunday followed by Sunday dinner in a masham pub I’ll bring the jelly kettle and hot chocolate on the walk
They're local lads and know the hills so I trust them , done loads of rides with them and am always on a high after, but this was something else! To pick up the descent down rig beck they went "off piste", and just dropped off the track and straight down the fell side through fresh snow, what a rush
Top offer bud. Remember loony Lurcher. You 're right about getting out on a night. Traipsing across t fells, fishing the scaurs around Whitby, dragging a leg behind you after a hard caving trip at daft o clock has a certain charm. Taking the hound out tonight up int forestry was well enjoyable, at least the world and his dog wasn't out too.
Good to see you guys out there getting in shape. Slightly envious of you though as I have been suffering with my poorly feet for months and can just about do a half mile walk.
