Hello Well my tailgate falls down when it's open...it stays up.. but when you move a little bit it falls down...slowly...More as I look ...everything looks units place ,the only thing that missing is a little rubber that goes in between the two hinge torsion bars... Is there any way to give it more torsion ...or is something wrong.. Please help
Yeah ....but there's is nothing broken....and the weight..doesn't have lead but some plaster...don't think that's the problem...a amescador must way much much more... Is there a way to turn the bars so they have more tension...without brake my fingers,
Could it be..the rubber spacer in between the bars..that's missing..the problem...maybe that gives some more strength...??
Apparently, Viagra will help keep it up according to @crossy2112. Not sure what he means or how he knows!!
Just a thought. It might have gone like the springs on my passenger seat. Where the 'fibres' of metal in the spring separated and left two very jagged hairy ends of wire which stayed interlocked and only showed up as you moved the spring and then a crack would open in the metal. Sit inside the back of the bus and uncover the springs and watch as you or somebody raises and lowers the hatch. If there is a crack and depending where it is on the spring, it may be possible to weld a strengthening piece of steel to it .. I wrapped my much smaller seat springs in 3mm wire and welded it into a blob round the cracked area..
Ok We will try it tomorrow..I will keep up..thanks Enviado desde mi Lenovo PB1-750P mediante Tapatalk
