Mine too. If something loud and crashy came on R3 he’d turn it up and conduct. The rest of us wd run to the kitchen. Still miss him though.
No. Neither is the one about not driving. The one about dancing. That's ok, but only because of Stevie Ray Vaughen.
I was going to ask what's the one with the women in tight black dresses playing the guitar...then I remembered that's Robert palmer...
music is music.........................some is shi**....sorry a lot is shi** and we all have different tastes in music. I have just bought my 14yr old part time girl her first vinyl album for her birthday and she loves it, now she's asked her mum what to do with it.... it was a queen album....as I say its all about your taste in music, I cant stand queen...... I asked her what sort of music she liked and what a slagging she gave to someone called bieber.
The last live music event I went to was B.A.P. at the Brixton O2 academy. A South Korean hiphop group. And to a Korean event in Trafalgar Square featuring F (x) , a Korean girl group. My daughters drag me along and I quite enjoy it.
On a positive note, my mum (who is now 83) let us play her albums when I was a nipper of about 8. These included Beatles albums like Help, Hard Day's Night, Please Please Me & Rubber Soul, other gems like Well Respected Kinks and Sandy Nelson's Drums are my Beat. Buuuuut ..... there was also Nana Mouskouri and The Singing Nun
