See's my lovely wife, Mrs ST's 40th birthday so I bought her this.......... Meet Bernard who now looks like this........... 1977 1200 beetle running 1641 twinport...... All my own work (except for paint) & all in my spare time, mostly Saturdays & a few weeks of evenings towards the end. Happy Birthday love x
Has always wanted a beetle from a young age & seeing as both she & Bernard are 40 this year I thought why not. Plus I get to drive him!
That's very nice...I'm tentatively looking for something similar to get ready for my daughters 17th... I've got 7 years left so plenty of time.....to save up for the insurance
I am insured with cherished for the bay & added this car onto our existing policy for a sum total of £111- both 1641cc & both have very good agrred values. You don't always accrue no claims bonus on classic vehicle policies so may be a cheaper alternative for your daughter.
I think if you can proof you have been a member of a club you can get classic Somebody is going to come on and shoot me now
I think if the car is a classic (over a certain age) you get classic insurance. It is generally cheaper as they consider the car is not to be used daily. Tlb members get 15% discount & 10% off admin fee. I am paying £250 pa for the two vehicles.
