    Nope, couple of new flexis

  2. Oh dear, I appear to have made my bus very fast!!

The T25 back box I had put on as a temp measure seems to have been restricting the bus some what. Felt a bit sluggish in pickup but if accelerating slowly it would be fine.

Saw a stainless boy racer stylee backbox at skeg Vegas and in the Sunday asked the guy if he still had it as he was packing up. He did, so I bought it for a tenner and fitted it last night. Been for a few test runs tonight and it's soooo much faster.

Much louder under acceleration but still fairly quiet on tick over and cruising.

It will do for now until I sort out a permanent exhaust.

also ordered this switch: http://www.t7design.co.uk/products/...tches/heater-fan-switch-with-rotary-knob.html 4 position to go with above heater

  5. nice find, shame for me they're out of stock
I'll give them a call in the morning and see if any more due.

Do I need the regulator anymore?, I've got a DRelay, regulator and other wires in the engine bay which will be easier to strip now (orig 1.8 FI auto)

  6. Nope Subaru has internal reg

Dual relay for fuel injection is not needed either

  7. pkrboo,
I wondered why did you install a cab heater when the air from the suby engine flow would be good anyway (I assume it to be) , is it to boost it up a bit more or so that you could run and have hot air when stationary ?
I installed a eber a couple years back which works great esp when parked up so not sure if I actually need this as well but I do need a heater matrix so this could be a luxury addition while driving.?

  8. I'm not sure what you mean about the suby engine air flow being good? I had fellows fit the front heater option when I had mine done as otherwise there would have been no other heating at the windscreen/front end of the bus either when stationary or moving, (I dont understand how you'd get heating there otherwise particularly when moving?) the I think @Sick Boy had the same fitted for the same reason.

  9. i just assumed it (output from engine) would be enough to give decent hot air but I guess what you are saying is it need help so this is the solution. Thanks for the reply, its helping build my knowledge and understanding.

  10. just ordered one. T7 came back to me this morning, their website said none in stock but he actuially had 5 (4 now :)

  11. There is no air output in a Subaru engine as it's watercooled, you use the water heater outlets from the Subaru to feed a heater core as per normal cars and the t7 unit is an all in one heater core and fan unit

  12. Yes I did. Get loads of heat although most gets wasted in my draughty van

  13. Hi, Where did you buy those items , the inlet pipework and air filter etc from, I need the same. Same for the expansion tank, is it a generic item, I've seen a few on eBay and this one but yours works so may as well follow

  16. @pkrboo Matt. I look forward to seeing how you fit this as I'm not happy with the matrix and fan I fitted

  17. Inlet and pipework is from Auto Silicone Hoses website. 38mm silicone hoses for waterproofed and 65mm for air inlet(I think)

The expansion tank is for a MK4 golf I think from eBay, I'll try and find the link.

Air filter is a CAB enclosed air filter from eBay for about £24, works well and there isn't much induction noise
