i looks I'm going to go for twin Webbers on my 1600tp what fuel regulator is good for the money and what's the best to set it to

  2. Fuel king seem to be the most reliable and webbers run at 2.5-3.5 psi

The same but a lot of people have had issues as the standard fuel pump can put out 6psi and the needle valves in Webbers are only use to 3psi

  5. i was under the impression that the standard pump runs at 2.5 - 3 psi?
    maybe i was wrong!

  6. My van ran really lumpy on and off until I put a regulator in... I just have a cheap one though with the standard mech fuel pump

  7. mine has been brilliant without a regulator, apart from the accuspark issues recently!

  8. 0.2-0.3 bar (2.9-4.3 psi)

  9. Before splashing out, worth buying a cheap gauge and measuring the fuel pressure. You may find you don't need one.

  10. Snotty is right last week I bought a regulator and gauge, turns out I didn't need the regulator, it's running at 2.5 psi.

  11. Almost the same here. I got a regulator as my Dells were running rich, then measured the pressure - wrong order! Pressure from my stock pump was about 3.5 psi, but...I have seen stock pumps running over 5psi. Cheaper to measure first!

Fuel King, they do two sizes so I got the bigger one as you never know if your getting a bigger engine :) don't rely on the filter for the main cleaning duty stick a good plastic one under the van. Mine are Mann ones that I buy in bulk.
As for psi my twin ict webbers run on 2.1/2.5 and work loads better.
My twin kads ran on any pressure I could sling at them oddly.

We use one of the 3.5 psi rotary electric pumps on our ICTs with a regulator set at 2.5 psi. For safety it's connected via a fused relay circuit
