I've got a 3/4 bed and moved it to the middle, built some storage either side and the arm rest cushions are the same height as the bed when you pull it out making it into a double. Just a cooker unit to go now http://s1148.photobucket.com/user/Lloyd934/media/LLOYDS/Pictures/0969A1FF-E75D-4226-91A6-4C7173899A04.jpg.html][/URL]
Yep, my spare is in the wheel well place at the back. It's got the plastic cover on and to be honest, it's never been a problem spacewise.
not the most elegant solution really is it, practical although wouldn't allow anyone with a westy bed to put it back into seating mode as it is intended to be done!
This is mine. We based it on the Westy Continental that was originally fitted. Full width rusty Lee bed and twin burners/sink under the glass lid in the main pod. The gas bottle is in the small side pod near the bed. There is also a head locker and box between the front seats. The buddy seat contains the loo. We are adding a flip-up extension to the end of the main pod for extra table space.
I've got a tin top and camp in it often with the wife and dog! Stacks of room!! Vanwurks interior does the job hands down for us!
that's very nice! I like a bit of orange porn. Didn't set out to dis the tintop generally btw! if it came across that way as they do look absolutely fantastic so sorry bout that. If I were shorter/younger/didn't have a dodgy back etc. then my opinions might differ
oh no offence taken at all... I know a lot of people who are not keen as they prefer to stand up fully, but not being gifted in height its never too much of a worry Had a few interiors before this and they just didn't work as the vanwurks... its up there for cost, but you get what you pay for... the bargain and the bit I love are the curtains... my mum made them for me - from a double duvet from Asda!!
