FOR SALE Badger Beach Fishing Shelter

Discussion in 'Non Late Bay Classifieds' started by Ermintrude, Apr 7, 2017.

  1. Dad's getting rid of his beach shelter because he doesn't catch anything (I may have added that bit).

    £25 can deliver to techenders or collect from Saltaire

    It has two flaws that I can see, both easily repairable;
    a small outside pocket has a hole in - don't put small things in there or put a patch on;
    There's some stitching come undone at the top, only about 20 stitches, easy fix. Or put a patch on it... :D

    Comes with pointy bits for the legs presumably to push into the sand, two bags to keep it in (?) and is red. Dad seemed keen to tell me that the outer bag has a long zip pocket to keep your rod in (stop sniggering at the back). That's as much as I know about such things. :D

    Oh, and it's called a Badger -you know, after those well known beach casting animals :/

    not packing that bugger up, it's huge! I just need more space - i've just stubbed my toe on the awning bag while heading for the gin. shocking state of affairs.

    I was in Witherspoon's for lunch and a swift one today and tried a Gin chaser - Martin something with orange. Very nice indeed

  17. You can see why he didn't catch any fish ( allegedly) - it's bright red so they can see him a mile off even under water

    Think you should just advertise this as
    “Shed for sale. Full of stuff. Offers invited” :D

  19. :D three sheds now and the cellar!

    Slowly but surely... just need to work out which furniture I’m keeping then the rest can go. I need an industrial overlocker and the space for one this year!
