Compressor is over 20 years old and I'm concerned about its 'robustness' so have decided to keep it as a back up and have bought one of these http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Cotech-24-Air-Compressor/Pr183427000 The cfm/lmin is not that impressive at about 4.5cfm (121 l/min if you're into metric) so it won't keep your air tools running for long. I tend to use it for tyre inflation and the odd bit of painting (ATM wheels) so it'll do nicely and at £29.99 it's a bargain I reckon. It has a 2 year guarantee and even if it packs up in 3 months time, (as it did for one of the reviewers) I'll get my money back. The few tools I've had from Clas Ohlson has been OK so I've taken a gamble, bit like the stuff in Lidl & Aldi.
Your old one will Be more robust than the new one, if the old one brakes, buy a new one, you can thank me for all the money I've saved you after
I mean bigger than my current one. 24litre should be ok, I've ordered one. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
