Mexi seal doesn't include the bit along the scuttle as they used the same bit there as on german bugs. Gonna see about using a section of closed cell foam on mine as i couldn't find a replacement clamping strip.

Yes buddy it's a pal of mine got a brand new work shop and booth Iv got half a day meeting 7am on sat morning till 1ish I will just high build then block see how bad it is pick at it then might do it again and then paint Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If it turns out looking ok It will be a massive middle finger to the folk who said it's scrap and will never be on the road Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
one thing, you proved with the bus you could do it and now the beetle, that's two excellent achievements. you should be chuffed to bits
Scuttle is looking good. If you're leaving it in high build for a while then try and store it somewhere that isn't a tent as it'll absorb moisture from the air and microbister it. Or use non porous primer if its available.
I told the paint shop where I'm keeping it shall remind them not sure I'll get it in my kitchen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That was you started all that nonsense Most of us said fix it ya big girl Thought it would be taking a bit longer than this though
